Lot #: Go
Lot Title: 1909-S Lincoln PCGS MS-64RD (mislabeled Indian holder)
Lot Number: 184
Description: Berry Tree Collection. S over horizontal S. PCGS has incorrectly labeled this as an Indian cent, although those collectors who "buy the coin, not the holder" probably will not be fooled. The grade seems properly assigned, however, as the patina obviously gleams with blazing copper-red luster, accompanied by delicate spearmint-green iridescence. Beautifully articulated detail includes full wheat kernels, and pleasing (though not quite full) definition of Lincoln's portrait. no reference is made to the "lazy mintmark" on the PCGS holder.
