Lot #: Go
Lot Title: 1794 PCGS VF-25
Lot Number: 887
Description: Cohen-1a, large edge letters (we believe based upon very limited visibility within the slab insert). Partially smooth, Hershey-chocolate surfaces and moderately worn devices are ideally characteristic of the commercial middle grade assignment. A smattering of small voids across the lower half of the obverse appear as-made, since so many of these early half-cents were struck on defective flans.
