Lot #: Go
Lot Title: 1875 NGC PR-67 Star CAMEO
Lot Number: 757
Description: 1 graded PR-67 CAM "star", 1 higher at NGC. An outrageously beautiful proof type quarter, NGC's special designation is unquestionably deserved, as is assignment of the Scotsman Cataloger's Choice Award. For that matter, it's hard to believe that there could be a nicer example given the population report, while this example certainly stands on its own technical merits -- fabulous strike, gleaming mirrors and fields that display at worst the lightest conceivable occasional hairlines. One single nick flung far into the obverse right field could serve as a pedigree marker, but it seems impossible that one could ever confuse such a beautiful gem with "some other" example.
