Lot #: Go
Lot Title: 1806 Pointed 6, No Stem NGC XF-45
Lot Number: 692
Description: Overton-109, a common die-marriage that can be readily found in better grades, and can be inferred quickly by noticing that the eagle's beak is solidly joined to the nearest star point. Prodigious sharpness for this dusky example takes full advantage of deep tan-grey patina and pleasing, lighter greyish accents clinging to many devices that only enhances apparent sharpness. Conspicuously attractive as an original coin, both sides are amazingly free from contact marks, given the amount of wear, making this a superb choice for type or RedBook variety representation.
