Lot #: Go
Lot Title: 1896-O NGC MS-63
Lot Number: 643
Description: 153 graded MS-63, 15 higher at NGC. Dull. Lackluster. Poorly struck. All are adjectives frequently thrown at 1896-O silver dollars, yet flagrantly disregarded by this choice NGC representative, which instead projects unexpected vibrancy and off-white velvety smoothness. A very decent strike could never be called perfect but exceeds the flatline expectations by most collectors. All this being said, the grade is most definitely held back by a curious arc of abraded area on the forward cheek.
