Lot #: Go
Lot Title: 1878-CC PCGS MS-65
Lot Number: 594
Description: VAM-4, "close CC". Predictable for the date, both sides received an extremely accurate blow from the dies, resulting in seemingly maximum possible definition throughout. Arctic-white on the obverse, an extremely faint layer of patina can barely be detected on the reverse. Although a small contusion lands on the bottom of Liberty's jaw, the cheek otherwise appears clean and frosty while the fields yield evidence of only extremely limited contact marks.
