Lot #: Go
Lot Title: 1883-CC GSA MS-65, and an 1884-CC GSA MS-64, both CACG
Lot Number: 565
Description: Chicken pox is rarely a good thing, but the chicken pox pattern on the 1884-CC Morgan silver dollar in this lot is desirable. The pattern is present on such coins because the large hunks of silver were stashed in canvas bags in U.S. vaults for decades, awaiting their historic return in the 1970s. GSA hoard silver dollars are popular, and this pair (the other is an 1883-CC coin in a slightly higher grade) has earned accolades from CAC for their quality. (JS)

Please Note: An 18% Buyers' Premium is added to the hammer price of all lots in this sale.

This lot may contain an item not certified by ANACS, CACG, PCGS, or NGC. While Scotsman Auction Co. is typically conservative in our descriptions of items not certified by one of these companies, we cannot guarantee our grading estimation will match their grade. We highly recommend that collectors seeking items certified by a third-party grading service only bid on items that have already been certified. No lot can be returned because of a variance in judgment with regards to grade.
