This is an attractive overdate Draped Bust dollar, naturally seasoned and circulated to the present slate and stone-colored peripheries and lighter nimbus grey high points. Two oxidative lines exist just northwest of head, but appear largely natural and could possibly be explained by natural impurities found in the planchet or otherwise created during production. (CE)
