Lot Title: 1834 Large 4 Capped Bust dime AU-53, and a 1916 Mercury dime MS-66FB, both PCGS
Lot Number: 287
Description: An 1834 "large 4" dime enjoys a little bit of mint luster within obverse stars, the surface endowed with slightly dense lavender-lead patina that still allows some delicate hairlines to flutter about. Astonishingly attractive luster shimmers over the 1916 dime, the neck and lower cheek featuring very faint hairlines. Two coin lot.

This lot may contain an item not certified by ANACS, CACG, PCGS, or NGC. While Scotsman Auction Co. is typically conservative in our descriptions of items not certified by one of these companies, we cannot guarantee our grading estimation will match their grade. We highly recommend that collectors seeking items certified by a third-party grading service only bid on items that have already been certified. No lot can be returned because of a variance in judgment with regards to grade.
