Description: Captivating breathtaker from Mexico! These 2 reale coins have a large enough surface to appreciate the Liberty Cap and Rays design, and this example is especially exhilarating. Bluish-orange notes about the edge of the obverse field captivate, but but the shimmery mirrorlike surfaces also compete for attention. That this survived in such a high grade – this is one of three such pieces at the grade by NGC (with only three other pieces grading higher) – suggesting that the next owner will require a strong bid to be able to prize this as much as previous owners have.
