Description: The Opa Collection. 9 graded PR-66+, 31 higher at PCGS. It can be quite difficult to discern a proof from a circulation strike for 1889 but a profound strike creates what is essentially a superb gem by PCGS standards. Rather nice pastel toning in shades of sunset-gold, jade, and violet-green layer most of the obverse, while the reverse features mostly golden-grey long with a quick crescent of maroon at the reverse lower right.
