Description: Sikeston Seated Collection. While not a rarer proof within the series, the Scotsman Cataloger's Choice Award gets assigned here due to the astonishing vibrancy put forth by this nearly white-on-black coin -- true white purity denied by attractive coppery color on the rims that adds to the dramatic appearance. The "star" designation clearly denotes a fully UCAM obverse while the reverse features only above-average mirrors. Astute viewers will find just the right lighting and viewing angle to reveal an excessively fine, staccato hairline across the obverse but it cannot be seen from any other perspective.
