Description: The Opa Collection. An outrageously beautiful proof quarter, blazing luster bands shimmer through mostly white obverse fields, surrounded by molten purple-cobalt and cinnamon-bronze album toning. The reverse is where aesthetics fly off the chart as a large ring of royal-blue, Pacific green and sunset gold encircle the orange center. Both sides are struck to an almost inimitable level of sharpness, which is of course characteristic of the 1880s proofs.
