Description: Iron-grey patina suggests an exceptional level of original preservation for this early San Francisco Walking Liberty half-dollar. The strike appears fairly representative of 1918-S, as the date is almost never found fully struck. Resting at the extreme right of the eagle's bottom right feathers is an interesting planchet flaw embedded into the surface.
