Description: The Opa Collection. 10 graded MS-66+, 18 higher at PCGS. Very common below the present grade, the 1892 must have been saved in large numbers when the "new" Barber design began appearing in banks and circulation. That aside, this is a stunning and impressive example that features an astonishingly sharp strike despite slender die cracks through the date. Delicate hairlines and a couple of thin abrasions scoot across the bottom of Liberty's neck but they can do nothing to detract from the booming eye-appeal that swirls beneath sea-green, sky-blue and lavender hues.
