Description: The Opa Collection. A series of close examinations reveal an almost multi-dimensional surface quality that is simultaneously satiny, frosty, and reflective. Upon a closer look, there appears to be the lightest evidence of a strike through in the extreme east and west fields of the obverse, forming two small crescents adjacent to the coins rim. It seems die grease or another substance may be the cause of this coin’s curious surface. (CE)
