Description: KM#377.11, Oaxaca mint, first use of "O" style of 1861-4. Unusually sharp details add considerable appeal to this rare 8-reales emission. Light adjustment marks crisscross over the cap while some light die cracks show on the reverse. This is a famously desirable issue for the first use of the mintmark with an "A" inside "O", replacing the prior simpler "O" mintmark.
