Lot #: Go
Lot Title: 1899 CACG MS-65RD, and a 1909 NGC MS-64 RD
Lot Number: 1040
Description: The Opa Collection. To say that these are red Indians must not be mistaken as a bigoted remark as each has garnered that color designation from the respective grading services. Included are: 1899 (tremendous strike created velvety surface frost with magenta-orange overtones helping disguise some trivial, micro abrasions) and 1909 (outrageous flaming luster draped in intense red overtones, the grade determined by two bagmarks left of the profile). Two coin lot.
PCGS #: 2204
Estimate: $750-$850
Lot Status: This lot is not yet open for bidding.

Please Note: An 18% Buyers' Premium is added to the hammer price of all lots in this sale.

This lot may contain an item not certified by ANACS, CACG, PCGS, or NGC. While Scotsman Auction Co. is typically conservative in our descriptions of items not certified by one of these companies, we cannot guarantee our grading estimation will match their grade. We highly recommend that collectors seeking items certified by a third-party grading service only bid on items that have already been certified. No lot can be returned because of a variance in judgment with regards to grade.
