Lot #: Go
Lot Title: 1878-CC PCGS XF-45
Lot Number:
Description: The Wild Steven Collection. 1878 was easily the Carson City’s most diverse year for coinage, with seated dimes, seated quarters, seated halves, trade dollars, morgan dollars, and double eagles produced. The coin offered here presents fabulous, fluttery patina in the form of rich flaxen gold color with splashes of light indigo and lilac in the northern half of obverse. However, a touch more wear than preferred for the 45 grade and what looks like a missed scratch almost all the way across the reverse should be mentioned. (CE)

Estimate: $10,500-$11,500
