Lot #: Go
Lot Title: 1913-D PCGS MS-65RD
Lot Number:
Description: Fully red designated Lincoln cents from the 1910’s and 1920’s are quite scarce and often times bid for considerably more than coins from the same grade and date in red-brown and brown. A few carbon flecks do persist on the coin presented here, notably on top of the “1” in 1913, above the “Y” in LIBERTY, and above the “U” in E PLURIBUS UNUM. Still, it’s a remarkable reminder of how brilliant Lincoln cents come when they are exceptionally preserved and unoxidized. (CE)
