Description: Struck-through obverse, although the slab makes no mention of what appears to have been a partial drop of water that affected texture over a large swath of the lower obverse. Furthermore, both dies show obvious evidence of cracking, which helps explain a slightly deficient strike. A highly intriguing key date very seldom found at or near the choice grade level.
