Lot #: Go
Lot Title: 1868 PCGS PR-67CAM
Lot Number: 759
Description: 2 graded PR-67 CAM, 1 graded PR-67+ CAM, zero higher at PCGS. Ex-NGC 3490848-002, where it was graded PF-67+ "star" -- equivalently the same grade for the present PR-67 CAM designation conferred by PCGS. Aesthetics offer the best of both worlds, with maximum sharpness and astonishing frost on Liberty's portrait (partially induced by the previously rusted die), and astonishing eye-appeal with a narrow cyan-green and cinnamon-plum border on the obverse, and a huge swath of similar colors completely swamping the reverse. What appears at first glance to be a hairline from lower left to upper right across the obverse proves to be an intriguing die-polish line upon further inspection of the phenomenally well-preserved surface.
