Lot #: Go
Lot Title: 1885-CC PCGS MS-63DMPL
Lot Number: 615
Description: VAM--2 and struck from extremely early dies that plainly show a few whispery die cracks described in the VAM guide. Incomparable reflectivity dances from the fields -- to such an extent that the coin might do very well at "another" service where it could earn a "star" for dazzling eye-appeal. Despite irrelevant cloudiness seen here and there, the surface appears very close to full originality, showing some golden hues spreading toward the rim. The Scotsman Cataloger's Choice Award takes into account coins that possess some aesthetic extreme, with those seemingly UDMPL fields providing just that.
