Description: Reputation as the most available mintmarked Indian eagle stems from a waterfall mintage of 2.3-million pieces for 1910-D. Even so, a paltry 1% (!) of examples certified qualify for the gem grade level, this being an exquisitely colored example with granulated surface texture typical of the date. The obverse boasts an exceptionally clean cheek while very few random tiny abrasions stray onto the reverse.
