Description: PCGS assigned Redbook descriptions to this pair of New Jersey coppers. First is 1787 "outlined shield", a rather nicely centered example showing limited surface granularity present when the coin was struck, as well as very good contrast between pecan-brown devices and darker fields. Accompanying is 1787 "small planchet, plain shield", featuring delightful tan devices layered atop sienna-brown fields that do show a fair amount of granularity. Two coin lot.
