Description: 1992 gold 100-yuan, mintage: 1,000. Scarce, low-mintage coin which seems to have difficulty seating properly within the NGC capsule. Difficult as it is to examine a superb proof within a slab, there does appear to be a few wispy hairlines that determine the grade, though it is unclear what level of die polish is responsible for some of the fragile lines. The reverse displays a couple of microscopic copper spots as well. NGC serial number 3388787-002.
