Description: Judd-1772, R.6+ and extremely rare in any state of preservation. It appears that perhaps as few as 40 unique grading events have occurred between the major services over the past forty years. Pollock lists four different aluminum alloys, but no metallurgical analysis has been indicated on the CAC slab. Extensive hairlines appear to represent die polish but the planchet allow shows some anomalies lower left of the shield and a small planchet flake far left on the reverse.
