Description: Highly reflective fields and steeply struck devices are impossible to ignore when looking at this particular 1939 United States proof set. This set has been carefully transplanted into a Capital plastics holder and has remained there for quite some time. Each of the silver issues are bright and white while the Jefferson nickel and Lincoln cent offer very attractive toning patterns that are certainly era appropriate (ck).
