Description: First is an 1853 type-1 gold dollar, unusually pale in appearance almost to the point of being white-gold, but showing an astoundingly deep strike. Accompanying is an 1854 type-2 layered in smooth, attractive khaki-gold hue and affected only by smooth, honorable circulation wear. Two coin lot.
