Lot Title: Philippines - 1943 Bronze Medal Honeycutt-321, Basso-165, 42 g. - PCGS MS-63
Lot Number: 100
Description: Ga Ha Ha Consignment. Mintage 2000, Honeycutt-321, Japanese "Jose Paciano Laurel" medal dated 1943 to commemorate appointment of Laurel as (puppet) President of the occupied Philippines. While out-of-favor for the obvious connotations to miserable conditions in the occupied island nation during World War II, these are avidly pursued in better condition by collectors. Though graded only MS-63, an acceptable quantity of hairlines sweeps over the surface and doesn't impede rather nice russet-bronze and brown hue overall.
