Description: Off a low mintage of about 6-thousand, close to a sixth were proof strikings, although the date is famous for circulation strikes that seemingly exceed the qualities of sister proofs. That said, the cataloger can find no reason at all for NGC to deny a cameo designation given wall-to-wall mirrors and ample frosted texture on the devices. A deeply impressed example showing a whisper of softness at Liberty's forehead.
