Description: Overton-109a can be quickly attributed by noting a heavy die crack through AMERICA, diagnostic also of the die-state. The borders for this dynamic, near mint example feature highly attractive album toning painted in lavender-orange, russet-gold and ocean-blue colors. Substantial luster dominates the fields but as expected, it disappears within the widest expanses due to finger wear. The cataloger notes a few unimportant pinscratches over the eagle's beak and a trio of minor linear abrasions in front of the portrait.
