Description: The Merchants and Planters National Bank of Mt. Pleasant, Texas. The census showed only four large examples (one a red seal) prior to discovery of this second title Mount Pleasant ten within a local collection. This very rare institution out of east Texas has eluded even the most complete collections assembled, and this appears to now be the finest known example known -- problem-free at VF25. The note has seen a fair amount of circulation but survives with a natural appearance and absolutely solidly graded by PMG.
