Description: 29 graded MS-66 RD, 5 higher at NGC. The surface remains almost fully carbon-free except for a sprinkling of utterly trivial, microscopic dots. More important is the blistering fire-red color that shines off either side, showing almost no evidence at all of mellowing hue. This also happens to be a very well struck 1908-S that does not suffer the weakness typically seen at the ends of the feathers. Phenomenal quality for a most difficult entry within this popular series.
