Description: Bert Davies Collection. Ryder 8-C (R.3). Exceptionally sharp, the shield display amazingly accurate horizontal lines and the vertical lines are fully separated where intended by the dies. This may be the sharpest 8-C ever seen by the cataloger, and that despite extensive matte texture brought on by the "corrosion" called out by NGC. A Massachusetts that simply must be appreciated by Colonial specialists.
