Description: The Supernova Collection. A pair of half-eagles will please any collector who appreciates good strikes, as both are carefully detailed and fully lustrous. 1904 seems somewhat pale and likely missed the choice grade level on account of a few too many tiny hairlines grazing the obverse fields. Slightly bolder lemon tint visits 1906, this an FS-301 which purports to have "6" in the date overpunched over an unclear prior digit. Two coin lot.
