Description: Fr#471, charter 4328. The short-lived First National Bank of East St. Louis issued only this type before dissolution in 1907 and references suggest no more than ten large examples extant. This highly appealing five displays large, sharp signatures and possibly choice quality for the very-fine level except that the top of the note was cut slightly into the design.
