Description: Bert Davies Collection. Very attractive satin luster infuses the entire surface of 1854 type-1, with the obverse particularly contact-free. This coin was struck off clashed dies and also brief die cracks on both sides. The 1856 "slanted 5" features smooth wear and only a slight twinge of luster atop pale golden color. Two coin lot.
