Description: The Supernova Collection. Steep strikes, reflective fields, and original surfaces aptly describes all five members of this very alluring 1939 United States proof set. All three of the silver issues are blast white and offer seemingly endless luster while the Jefferson nickel boasts mild shades of grey and gold. The Lincoln cent is a very traditional red example with a few minor patches of bronze toning. This set is housed in a black Capital plastics holder and simply has the “right” look (ck).
