Description: Offshore Technician Consignment. 8 graded MS-66 RD, 4 higher at PCGS. RPD, FS variety not determined. "1" in the date is repunched slightly south, "8" repunched slightly east, and the "5" appears delicately recut. The cataloger has seen these attributes on other examples but could not determine the precise Fivaz-Stanton attribution. The brilliant copper surface shows a delicate blush of red toward the obverse center and across a broader portion of the reverse. Memorably pristine aside from a very limited number of minute carbon speckles.
