Description: The First Through Last Collection. An astonishing proof nickel, details are all flawlessly struck and amazingly well preserved, right down to the visibly split ends of the bison's tail. Heavily polished proof dies produced noticeable cameo effect, as well as deeply mirrored fields. The cataloger could find no contact at all worth mentioning, but two minute carbon specks drop onto the obverse near the rim at 5:00 and below "R" in LIBERTY. Draped in almond toning.
