Description: The highly accurate strike usually seen for a type-1 holds up to close examination here as exacting detail includes carefully sculpted facial features and individually delineated feathers for the eagle. 1924-D falls shy of these same aspirations as it was struck off of a cracked die and has a somewhat scooped head. Either side of both coins shows gleaming luster and mostly white surfaces, although a touch of grey embraces 1917-D. Two coin lot.
