Description: Henry Terranova Collection. VAM-7, Hit List 40. Incorrectly labeled by PCGS (but apparently accepted by CAC), this is actually 1880-CC "8 over 7" and not the Top 100 80/79 overdate. Nevertheless, the coin exudes pleasing quality with very few contact marks and delicate rim toning that suddenly converges on a richer orange-purple accent at the date. Phenomenally well struck and endowed with pleasing satin texture.
