Description: High Promises Collection. Type I / I, broken lettering reverse, and strike doubled at the lower reverse. Extensively lustrous, both sides beam with light grey frosty texture and plentiful energy. Numerous peripheral letters on the reverse have defective serifs or entirely missing portions, such as the broken serifs in "ES OF" and this reverse die has fascinated many collectors for decades.
