Description: High Promises Collection. 31 graded MS-63, 17 higher at NGC. Type I / I, CC close, no period. 1874-CC frequently shows chop marks and is considered the most commonly so-affected Carson City. Obviously, that is not the case here as the surface shows no such anomalies, nor are there many abrasions at all invading the lavender-grey and aluminum surface. The strike produced very good details on the obverse and outstanding sharpness for the reverse.
