Lot #: Go
Lot Title: 1913-S PCGS MS-64
Lot Number: 465
Description: The First Through Last Collection. Mintage: 34,000. 543 graded MS-64, 23 higher at PCGS. Representing the third lowest mintage for the series, the issue remains surprisingly available at or even above the choice grade level. It's the next grade up, i.e. "gem", where the population report indicates an enormous jump in price, causing the present MS-64 to be the true "sweet spot" for the collector. Of course, this is true only when quality meets road-requirements, which is just the case here.

Russet golden hue occupies most of the surface and provides a broad frame for coppery centers. All this takes full advantage of absolutely booming luster and a great strike. The whole surface appears slightly abraded by typical grazes from bag storage, but the only mark large enough to warrant individual mention rests nearly hidden within lower skirt folds.
