Description: Schenkman 11-25B (R.8), Wisconsin, rare and an absolutely astounding example. Brass-yellow luster actually still peeps from the wonderful, original bronze-brown patina. One delicate pinscratch off left of the eagle has toned right in with the rich surface patina and offers no obstacle to this exceptional sutler token survivor. A series that is practically unknown to most collectors and as-yet under-researched.
