Description: Caliber Collection. 29 graded MS-68 FB, 10 graded MS-68 FB "star", 3 higher at NGC. Across all dates within the series, the cataloger suggests that 1941-S is most likely to show up prooflike, and some have even been so-designated by the leading grading services. NGC skipped the opportunity here even though the fields clearly reflect nearly as well as those of a true proof. Perhaps one or two extremely faint hairline abrasions rest on the cheek but the surface overall appears to be amazingly free from distraction. The only complaint might regard a darker spot on "D" of DIME.
