Description: Bert Davies Collection. A septet of somewhat better Peace dollars includes the famous key for this grouping. Included are: 1926-D (sensational luster), 1927-D (subdued energy and a number of smallish abrasions on the cheek), 1927-S (off white and looks nicer than MS-62 except for occasional hairlines), 1928 (fairly well struck but showing reedmarks on the nose and less vibrant luster than usual), 1934-D (a clean cheek beneath coral-gold patina but also lightly hairlined), 1935 (one nick behind the eye), and 1935-S (clean cheek but noticeably weak luster). Seven coin lot.
