Description: VAM-1. Bright almost to the UNC level of silvery brilliance, the surface offers very little evidence of toning except for delicate greyish-gold patches over the ear, the eagle's breast and some other random feathers. Traces of frosty luster remain in protected areas and the only bagmarks of note occur just out in front of Liberty's forehead. Never ending popularity with collectors makes this a shoe-in for strong bids, and Scotsman Auction Company is fortunate enough to have an example of each VAM for 1893-S grade XF-45.
